Tender to Design Upgrades - Kew, Mid-North Coast

The Lindsay Dynan Civil Team was recently successful with a tender to design upgrades to the main street of Kew on the NSW Mid-North Coast.  The tender included a value add provision to develop 3D visualisations that Port Macquarie Hastings Council could display on their website project page for the Concept Design (20%) and Detailed Design (90%) stages of the project.

Due to the village type atmosphere and heritage features of the town, community consultation sessions are contributing considerably to the development of the upgrade designs.  It was proposed to Council that the Lindsay Dynan Digital Engineering Team could produce 3D visualisations to better demonstrate the design intent to the community, allowing for more constructive feedback to be considered for incorporation into the progressing design.

Visualisation was very well received by both Council and residents at a community consultation session in early July, with the detailed design visualisation programmed for completion in mid-October.
