Intermodal Facilities Projects

Project
ICL Port of Melbourne

Location
Melbourne, VIC

Client
Brightwater Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd

End Client
Independent Cement Line Pty Ltd

Our involvement
This new $60-million slag grinding facility required structural design of external and internal conveyors. Lindsay Dynan also reviewed the structural design of the existing portal frames to confirm there was sufficient capacity to support CV2 or their proposed alternative. Standard details were reviewed and adjusted as necessary for the Point Wilson project so that the design could accommodate the longer apparent conveyor spans and other minor adjustments. Lindsay Dynan was continuously focused on flexible project delivery and efficiency in materials and design program to accommodate tight timeframes and the reduction of project construction costs.

Project
Crawfords Freightlines Sandgate

Location
Sandgate, NSW

Client
Crawfords Freightlines

Our involvement
Lindsay Dynan worked on this existing operational development and designed to suit the client’s operational needs from a construction staging point of view. We assessed and understood the client’s needs and the site, and came up with innovative design solutions around working with very flat terrain to conduct civil upgrades for increased ammonium nitrate storage capacity, including pavement stabilisation, new stormwater treatment basins and improved rail siding access.
