More than ever, councils and authorities are cognisant of reducing the impact of land development on our ecosystems. This includes adhering to complex new stormwater management controls. Lindsay Dynan can make life easier by working closely with various local and state authorities to ensure these controls are achieved and can deliver the same outstanding results to your team.
We specialise in finding solutions to difficult problems and have extensive experience in the integration of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) elements, an appreciation of Local Government preferences for modelling techniques, and acceptance of proprietary WSUD products. Our track record also includes assessment and analysis of flooding conditions, and working with clients to ensure flood hazards are understood and allowed for.
Flooding and Water Cycle Management Projects
Elderslie Rivulet Augmentation
The scope of this project started out as a simple subdivision, but we identified an opportunity for the developer to maximize their yield by working with council outside LEP to improve road alignments. We engineered the realignment of an existing rivulet, including relocation of existing offline stormwater treatment basins and flooding analysis.
McIntyre & Schmidt Bridge Replacements
Kempsey Shire Council
Working with geotechnologists and surveyors, Lindsay Dynan acted as council’s lead designer providing advice and guidance for the future replacement of the McIntyre and Schmidt Bridges. With the skill set and experience to handle the flood modelling with a large catchment area, we developed an all-encompassing model that delivered council a comprehensive report they could hand over to a contractor with confidence.
