Maitland Regional Athletics Centre Upgrade

Lindsay Dynan were engaged by Maitland City Council to design and document the redevelopment of the Maitland Regional Athletics Centre.

The redevelopment included work from both our civil and structural teams for the reconfiguration of the oval, a new multi-level grandstand and associated change room facilities, and upgrades to the forecourt including new carparking and entry road, addition of carparking, connection and interface with High St and Odd St, realignment of trunk stormwater drainage lines and an Osprey nest.

The project possessed specific challenges in the form of coordination with a large design team, compliance with Maitland City Council and Australian Standards, assessment of local catchment flooding impacts, management/site disposal of contaminated soil material, and provision of early works documentation of preloading soil to consolidate the site prior to the main construction program.
