We at Lindsay Dynan celebrate International Women’s Day not only to recognise and acknowledge the contributions of our female staff, but also to further enhance communications around the issues of gender bias and inequality.

We observe significantly lower participation rates for women compared to men in the engineering industry and this is supported by a study undertaken by Engineers Australia that identified women account for approximately 15% of all engineering graduates in Australia. Gender parity is clearly an issue and progress is required to encourage women into the engineering profession. We challenge ourselves to identify what we can do to increase female representation in the months ahead.
