Michael is an Associate Structural Engineer with over 13 years experience. Michael has been involved in a wide range of projects in both the commercial and industrial sectors from design phase right through to construction management. Michael has strong analytical and communication skills which ensure he is able to deliver practical and cost-effective solutions to meet client expectations.
One particular area Michael has extensive experience and a particular interest in is dynamic analysis of complex vibrating structures. He has designed numerous large-scale steel and concrete structures that have required a detailed dynamic design using finite element analysis packages.
Michael has worked on a number of projects requiring innovative solutions to over come site transport and buildability issues. One example of this is the Mangoola Coal Handling Preparation Plant which was completely modularised to maximise efficiency in fabrication and construction.
