 About the Role

 As a Senior Civil Engineer you are responsible for leading the delivery of small projects, or packages of larger projects and outputting superior, value engineered solutions that solve clients’ challenges. You will contribute to creation of an environment where exceptional people collaborate and unite to exceed clients’ expectations, while developing their own careers.

Your expected achievements in this role include:

  1. Delivery of technically excellent projects within time and budget constraints and to achieve superior value engineered outcomes for all stakeholders. You will manage the delivery of packages/components of large projects, or the delivery of entire smaller projects.
  2. Manage the risk of doing business by complying with all non-technical processes and systems outlined in the applicable company documents and overseeing the team to do the same.
  3. Support a culture that unites all team members around the company values to ensure team members feel valued and engaged with a sense of belonging and achievement.

This role is based in our Newcastle office, however, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects across all of our offices across Australia.

About You

We are looking for someone that can make an immediate contribution so experience in a similar role with infrastructure experience including multi discipline projects and hands on detailed design delivery is required. Ideally you will have up to seven years’ experience, however, we will consider suitable candidates at all stages of their career.

About the Role

A a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will be working directly with clients as part of a structural design team to understand their project needs and to provide value-engineered solutions. You will primarily be involved in the structural design of mining surface infrastructure for a variety of metals and minerals.

Your expected achievements in this role include:

  1. To deliver projects on time and on budget and to exceed clients’ technical and service expectations. This will be measured by your ability to undertake work within mutually agreed parameters and via informal client feedback.
  2. Using your conceptual and creative problem-solving skills to provide technically excellent design solutions. This will be measured through peer reviews of design outputs and feedback from the wider engineering team.
  3. To manage the risk of doing business by complying with all non-technical processes and systems outlined in the applicable documents. This will be measured through adherence to quality compliance processes.

This role is based in our Perth office, however, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects across all of our offices across Australia.

About You

We are looking for someone that can make an immediate contribution so experience in a similar role with mining related infrastructure experience and the ability to deliver high quality sketches is required. Ideally you will have at least six + years’ experience.
